What this site is
A single page of writing and pictures about a community token, a short course in how Zcash works, a history section and a meme generator. It is an art and education project. It is not a company, a platform, a service or a product, and using it creates no relationship between you and anyone.
By using the site you accept what is on this page. If you do not, close the tab; there is nothing else you need to do.
None of it is advice, and none of it is an offer
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Nobody here knows your circumstances and nobody here is qualified to advise you on them.
Nothing here is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or financial instrument, in any jurisdiction, and certainly not in any jurisdiction where doing so would be unlawful. The site describes something that exists independently of it. It does not sell it to you.
Statements about what might happen later are expectations, not commitments. They describe what people intend today, they can change at any time without notice, and none of them should be relied on.
Who this is not for
You should not use this site, and should not act on anything in it, if any of the following is true.
- You are under 18.
- You are in a country where buying, holding or trading this kind of asset is restricted or prohibited.
- You are a person subject to sanctions, or you are acting for one, or you are in a territory subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- You would be relying on a distribution arriving, in a particular size, at a particular time, or at all.
Tokenized shares have their own eligibility rules
Distributions on a StonkFun launch are paid in the asset the coin is paired against, which here is a tokenized Nasdaq share issued by a third party. Tokenized equity is not available to everyone everywhere: offerings in this category commonly exclude United States persons, and several exclude other jurisdictions as well.
Whether you may hold such a token, and whether you may ever redeem it for the underlying share, is determined by the issuer and by the law where you live. It is not determined by this site, and nobody here can make you eligible or appeal a decision for you. Read the issuer's own terms for your country before you buy anything, not after.
What nobody here is
Nobody behind this site is a broker, a dealer, an exchange, a market maker, a custodian, a transfer agent, an investment adviser, a fund or an intermediary of any kind. No one here takes custody of your assets, executes anything on your behalf, holds a treasury, controls a multisig, or has any key that can move money to or from you.
Nobody here receives an allocation, a fee, a share of the transfer tax, or any payment connected to this project. There is nothing to disclose because there is nothing being earned.
Other people's services
The mechanic this site describes belongs to StonkFun. The tokenized share belongs to its issuer and custodian. Trading happens on decentralised exchanges nobody here operates. The underlying company is a public company with no connection to this project.
None of them are controlled by, affiliated with, endorsing, or endorsed by this project. This site cannot influence their fees, their timing, their availability, their eligibility rules or their continued existence, and it takes no responsibility for any of it. Links to them are for checking things yourself, not endorsements.
Company names, tickers, logos and trademarks that appear on this site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them, as permitted for descriptive and commentary purposes.
The site comes with no warranty
Everything here is provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Real effort went into getting the facts right and every claim is sourced. That is not the same as a guarantee. Figures go out of date, reporting can be wrong, protocols change and this page may not keep up. Where this site and a primary source disagree, the primary source is right.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, nobody involved in making this site is liable for any loss you suffer in connection with it or with anything it describes. That includes trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, loss of data, the acts of any third party, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether or not anyone was warned it was possible.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for fraud.
Your side of it
You are responsible for your own decisions, and in particular for these.
- Verifying the mint. Check the address on a block explorer before you transact. Impostor tokens with the identical name and artwork are routine, and no one here can recover funds sent to one.
- Your keys. A seed phrase on paper, never in a screenshot, a notes app or a chat. Anyone who has it owns everything in the wallet, permanently.
- Your taxes. Buying, selling, and receiving a distribution can all be taxable events, and receiving a tokenized security may be treated differently again. Ask someone qualified where you live.
- Your eligibility. Whether you are allowed to do any of this, where you are.
The artwork is yours to take
The money bag, the rotating versions, the icons and anything you produce in the generator on this site are released for anyone to copy, modify, print, sell and build on, commercially or otherwise, with no permission needed and no credit required. A project about decentralisation that gatekept its own logo would be embarrassing.
That grant covers this project's own artwork only. It does not cover third-party logos, tickers or trademarks that appear anywhere on this site, and it does not cover the photographs, papers or reporting linked in the resources section.
Changes, and which law applies
These terms can change. The date at the top changes when they do, and continuing to use the site means the current version applies. If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
